Creating 185 ft. of Fog Shrouded Visibility
A remote T intersection at 6:00 a.m. on a foggy December morning. A tractor trailer fully loaded with milk stops, then pulls onto the main road. A pickup truck approaches at the speed limit of 45 mph. In those conditions he'll have 185 feet to see, process, react and avoid the collision. Our task was to work with experts to illustrate the scenario. There's one more wrinkle. The pickup got jammed under the semi and dragged down the road as the semi driver hardly felt the impact. Could he have seen the pickup in his mirror as he entered the roadway? There are three views presented here.
